Rockin’ At Rabobank

California’s Bakersfield Centennial Garden & Convention Center is getting a Valentine’s Day present – a new name.

The city has entered into a naming rights agreement with financial services company Rabobank International that will see the good folks of Bakersfield attending events at the newly christened Rabobank Arena, Theater & Convention Center.

Arena manager SMG negotiated the $2.5 million deal, which gives Rabobank naming and signage rights to the arena and convention center for 10 years.

The change becomes effective February 14th.
