More Than A Squeeze
Glenn Tilbrook has been a solo artist for many years now, but he still embraces the days when his old band, the brilliant U.K. pop outfit Squeeze, was around. He recently did an acoustic set with his old songwriting partner, Chris Difford, at a London bookstore to promote the release of the autobiography “Squeeze: Song By Song.”
Meanwhile, Tilbrook is planning this month on releasing four CDs of his demos from 1974 to 1998. He is also reported to be a really nice dude so, if you see him, be cordial.
Things kick off at Virginia Beach’s Jewish Mother April 7th. He travels across the East Coast throughout the month, then the Midwest. With sojourns to Canada and the South included, Tilbrook winds things up at Bay Shore, N.Y.’s Boulton Center May 21st.
