Dean Hargrove Dies

Promoter Dean Hargrove, a former CEO of the Big Fresno Fair in California, died February 1st in St. George, Utah. The cause of death is still being determined.

Hargrove, 46, split time between Utah and Southern California promoting concerts and other entertainment, according to The Fresno Bee.

He took over management of the Fresno Fair in 1995 after heading the Madera District Fair for two years. He was credited with improving the Fresno Fair’s attendance and profits during his tenure, the paper said.

Hargrove was named GM of the Fresno Falcons hockey team in 1997 before moving to So Cal.
