MJ Hospitalized

Michael Jackson was admitted to a local hospital for treatment of the flu February 15th, postponing jury selection in his child molestation trial for a week.

Judge Rodney Melville told potential jurors about MJ’s illness and said jury selection would resume February 22nd.

Meanwhile, attorneys were expected to use the time to discuss unspecified motions.

Jackson was in court the day before as attorneys began the painstaking process of selecting 12 jurors and eight alternates from 242 candidates based on answers to a 41-question, eight-page survey.

MJ’s lawyers announced that day they may call celebrities to the witness stand including Diana Ross, Quincy Jones, Stevie Wonder, Backstreet Boy Nick Carter, and his younger brother, Aaron Carter.

Actor Corey Feldman, who said in a recent interview that Jackson showed him nude pictures when he was in his early teens, has been subpoenaed by prosecutors.

MJ is accused of molesting and giving alcohol to a 13-year-old cancer patient who visited Neverland Ranch.
