Miami Arena Open For Biz

TheMiami Arena has reopened.

The 16-year-old so-called “Pink Elephant” was purchased in December by Glenn Straub, owner of the Palm Beach Polo Golf & Country Club, for $28 million. He said he would renovate then open the arena in the spring and operate it for at least two years.

The venue holds 16,000 for concerts.
