The annual benefit concert founded by Tiger Woods is scheduled for May 21 at the Mandalay Bay hotel-casino.

“Stevie Wonder is a music legend, and I’m thrilled he’s headlining Tiger Jam VIII,” Woods said in a statement Marcy 8. “He’s very committed to social causes, which makes him a perfect fit to help raise awareness for the Tiger Woods Learning Center.”

Counting Crows also will perform at the concert, which raises more than $1 million annually for the Tiger Woods Foundation.

Proceeds from previous Tiger Jam concerts have supported a variety of organizations, including the Boys & Girls Club of Las Vegas and the VH1 Save the Music Foundation.

The timing couldn’t be better for Wonder, who is about to release a new material. “So What the Fuss,” a new single, will hit radio stations any day now. It’s the initial release from A Time To Love, his first studio album in a decade, which is scheduled to be in stores May 3.

No word yet if Wonder is thinking about touring behind the album, but you can bet his fans have their fingers crossed.
