Brown Promoted

Katherine Brown has been named executive director of Jazz at Lincoln Center.

She succeeds Derek Gordon, who was promoted to president following the retirement of Hughlyn Fierce.

Brown will oversee fund-raising, marketing and public relations in addition to sharing management duties with Gordon.

Previously, she was VP of development for Jazz at Lincoln Center, where she has overseen fund-raising since 1997.
