Clear Channel Stadium

The name of Lancaster Municipal Stadium, a minor-league ballpark in the California city, has been changed to Clear Channel Stadium. It’s believed to be the first time the media behemoth has put its name on a facility.

Clear Channel Radio entered into a 10-year naming rights agreement with the City of Lancaster, paying $770,000 total to have its logo on the marquees at the home of Class A team the JetHawks, an affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks.

“This mark represents the JetHawks home in a classy and attractive manner, and we feel it will be a logo that this community can be proud of when they think of their hometown ballpark,” team GM Brad Seymour said.

Signage will be throughout the facility, including the 40-foot fence that borders the Antelope Valley Freeway.
