The Celtic rockers have been doing two U.S. tours per year for a while now, and their first 2005 trip is confirmed to begin this spring.

Starting May 11 at Baltimore, Md.’s Rams Head Live, the band will cross the nation and back on a packed schedule taking them through the end of the month.

An August 9 show is also booked for Vienna, Va.’s Wolf Trap Filene Center, suggesting they’re either planning to stay the summer through or they’ve got another tour in the works already.

The Irish band’s latest offering, the live New Year’s Day, was first released in a limited edition of 1,000 copies, all of which sold out in one day. The group donated proceeds to tsunami relief efforts. A new pressing – featuring new artwork but once again limited to 1,000 discs – is now available through the band’s Web site.
