R.I.P. Thunderfoot

Southern Rock AllStars and Blackfoot drummer Jakson “Thunderfoot” Spires, 53, died of a brain aneurysm in Ft. Pierce, Fla., March 16th.

In his final days, Spires had been writing and recording music with former Blackfoot bassist Lenny Stadler and SRA guitarist Scott Mabrey for a side project.

The reunited members of Blackfoot were reportedly planning to tour in April.
