Tickets.com Deal Done

MLB Advanced Media has completed its tender offer for the outstanding shares of Tickets.com common and preferred stock.

The company now owns 26.7 million shares, or about 94.9 percent of issued and outstanding shares of Tickets.com. MLBAM, the online arm of Major League Baseball, announced in February that it would acquire the ticketing outlet.

The company paid $1.10 for each of approximately 9.7 million shares. Remaining shares will be converted into the right to receive $1.10 each without interest, the company said.
