Abdul Gets Probation

Paula Abdull got a little judgment of her own March 24th after pleading no contest to a misdemeanor charge of hit-and-run stemming from an auto accident in December.

The “American Idol” judge was fined and placed on two years informal probation for the incident, in which her Mercedes Benz clipped another vehicle on Highway 101 in Encino, Calif.

“Unbeknownst to Paula, there was some minor contact between the tire of her car and another vehicle on the roadway,” attorney Neil Meyer said in a statement.

“Paula immediately took full responsibility.”
