Master P Arrested On Gun Charge

Rap mogul Master P and his brother have been officially charged with carrying unregistered loaded guns following a January 27th traffic stop near the University of California Los Angeles.

Master P, whose real name is Percy Miller, and his brother Vyshonn Miller, whose stage name is Silkk The Shocker, were arrested after police stopped their leased car because it didn’t have license plates. An officer spotted a gun near the driver’s seat and another one was found under the front passenger seat, according to a report.

The brothers were free on $35,000 bail each and were scheduled for arraignment on one felony count each March 30th.

Meanwhile, third brother Corey Miller, who goes by C-Murder, has lost an appeal of his murder conviction in Louisiana.

The performer was convicted of second-degree murder in 2003, but a judge ordered a new trial because prosecutors withheld information about witnesses.

The Louisiana State Court of Appeals has since overturned that ruling and the younger Miller will be sentenced shortly.
