Ryko U.S. Gets New Pres

William Hein has been named president of Rykodisc‘s U.S. and international label operations.

Hein’s responsibilities – formerly covering the U.S. – will now extend to the London-based Rykodisc International operation, which manages label sales and marketing globally.

He joined Ryko Corporation in 2002 as president of DVD operations, and was co-founder of Enigma Records, Enigma Digital and Restless Records, the latter of which Rykodisc acquired in 2001.

Additionally, Neil Levine, founder of Penalty Recordings, has been named GM and senior VP of sales and marketing.
