Giampaolo Joins The Cirque

Aldo Giampaolo, former president of Montreal’s Gillett Entertainment Group, has been named GM of Theatre Shows, a new business unit of Cirque du Soleil.

Giampaolo and his staff will manage a new partnership between Cirque and Clear Channel Entertainment that will create a series of arena concerts starting next winter.

The shows will visit about 100 North American cities.
