Newton Gambles at Hilton

Wayne Newton is taking his act back to the Las Vegas Hilton for a six-week engagement beginning June 14th, hotel officials said.

“Mr. Las Vegas” headlined at the Hilton from 1987 to 1993.

Newton had been performing at the Stardust Resort & Casino since 1999. His last concert there was April 20th.

Newton will join Barry Manilow, who is booked at the Hilton into 2006.
