Fontainebleau Vegas Resort Announced

The newly formed Las Vegas-based Fontainebleau Resorts announced plans to build a $1.5 billion, 4,000-room mega-resort on the Las Vegas Strip.

The company’s property, to be named after the legendary hotel in Miami, will be on the north end of the Strip – tucked between an old water park and the Riviera Hotel & Casino.

Former Mandalay Resort Group President Glenn Schaeffer has been tapped as chief executive and president.
