Also ready to roll with the Stones: Maroon 5, Pearl Jam, the John Mayer Trio, The Tragically Hip and Les Trois Accords, with more opening acts to be announced later.

The Black Eyed Peas will open the Augut 21 and 23 shows in Boston. Maroon 5 will open the show in Hartford, Conn., August 26 and in Detroit on the 31st. Pearl Jam will handle the September 28 show in Pittsburgh.

The second date in Boston was added because of ticket demand, according to the wrinkled rockers.

The Stones announced the tour earlier this month with a three-song outdoor performance at Lincoln Center in Manhattan that included “Start Me Up.”

“We don’t plan that this is the last tour, and we certainly don’t announce it,” 61-year-old Mick Jagger said at a news conference afterward. “We take each tour as it comes.”

Dates in North America will continue through December, with performances alternating among stadiums, arenas and smaller venues. Prices will average $100-$105 per ticket. Gold Circle seats cost closer to $400.
