One Hot Bettie
Bettie Serveert established themselves as forebears of the indie rock movement of the early ’90’s with their debut album, Palomine. The Dutch group produced a number of Stateside college radio hits for Matador Records – helping to establish the imprint as the premier indie label it is now.
Having just released their seventh album, Attagirl, in January, the group will be touring the U.S. this summer.
The tour kicks off on June 16 in Washington D.C. at the Black Cat, moving north from there through Philadelphia, New York and Toronto.
Dates around the Great Lakes region of the U.S. will take place towards the end of the month. Bettie Serveert will then head south to Nebraska and Missouri before playing a few shows in the Southeast. The tour will finish up, though, in Massachusetts with shows in Wellfleet and Cambridge.
This is Bettie Serveert’s second trip through the U.S. this year, having toured throughout the first quarter of 2005.
