Bonnaroo festival producers A.C. Entertainment and Superfly Productions, organizers of Zooma, didn’t specify the reasons for the cancellation, but the statement suggests slow ticket sales might be the culprit.

“The Zooma Tour was conceived to provide fans with an exceptional musical and entertainment experience,” the unsigned statement said. “Due to unforeseen circumstances, it has become clear that it would not be possible to provide that experience at the level initially envisioned.

“Rather than go forward with a tour that falls short of what was conceived, everyone involved has mutually agreed that it is best to cancel the tour altogether.”

In additional to Anastasio and Harper, the tour was to have included a rotating cast of supporting artists including Medeski, Martin & Wood, Toots & the Maytals, Jurassic 5, Galactic, G. Love & Special Sauce, The Black Keys, Gomez, Ray Lamontagne, and Donavon Frankenreiter.
