Terry Carisse Dies

Canadian country legend Terry Carisse died of cancer May 22nd at a hospital in his hometown of Ottawa, Ontario.

Carisse, 62, won a number of industry accolades during his three-decade career, including six male vocalist of the year awards from the Canadian Country Music Association in the 1980s.

In addition to recording many hits on his own, Carisse had his songs recorded and performed by artists including The Mercey Brothers and Carroll Baker.
