Perry Cooper Dies

Perry Cooper, president of PERCO Artist Development and Management., died of liver failure May 28th.

Cooper started his music industry career in the 1960s as a radio station music director, followed by stints at Arista Records and then Atlantic Recordsfrom 1977 to 1995.

He was nominated for Pollstar‘s Artist Development Executive of the Year award in 1994.

Cooper formed PERCO in 1995 as a one-stop shop for management, marketing, public relations, touring, media development, publicity and tour coordination.
