Elton Extends Caesars Contract

Elton John and Caesars Palace announced that the performer will extend his stay at the Las Vegas hotel-casino through 2008.

Sir Elton’s David LaChappelle-directed show, “The Red Piano,” began in February 2004 and was originally slated for a three-year run of 75 shows at the 4,100-capacity Colosseum theatre, the venue built for Celine Dion‘s show.

The resort upped the amount of shows due to high demand, and the new extension provides for 150 more shows over the next three and a half years.
