NBA Coach Upset Over Concert

Mixing sports and music is becoming the thing to do these days but not everyone is embracing the trend.

Detroit Pistons coach Larry Brown recently said that pre-game entertainment “takes away from our sport,” according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

He explained how performances by Will Smith and Alanis Morissette before the June 9th opening game of the NBA Finals in San Antonio interrupted the players’ usual warm-up routine, prompting the league to give each team an extra four minutes to prepare.

Brown reportedly added that San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said his players became entangled in equipment used for the show.
