Tori Amos, on the heels of the book she coauthored with Ann Powers called “Tori Amos: Piece by Piece,” is hitting the amphitheatres in August and September. Along with her will be songwriter Imogen Heap and the effervescent swing of The Ditty Bops.
Amos kicks off the Summer of Sin tour – the second in support of her ninth album, The Beekeeper – at Chastain Park Amphitheatre in Atlanta August 8. From there, she, Heap and the Bops move to Florida’s Sound Advice Amphitheatre and Tampa Bay Peforming Arts Center. The shows stay on the East Coast and Canada for a while.
West Coasters will get a visit in early September, starting in Portland, Ore., on the 9th. Tori says goodbye September 17 at Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre.
