Ronald Winans Dies

Grammy-winning gospel singer Ronald Winans, 48, died in a Detroit hospital from heart complications June 17th.

He suffered a heart attack in 1997 and had recently been admitted to Harper Hospital for observation.

A member of The Winans gospel family, Winans and his brothers Michael, Marvin and Carvin released their first album, Introducing The Winans, in 1981.

Ronald Winans released his final CD, A Celebration, earlier this year.
