Coliseum Improves Acoustics
The 10,000-seat Kay Yeager Coliseum at the MPEC Center in Wichita Falls, Texas, will be getting a $358,000 upgrade to its acoustics.
Pay-Less Insulation of Houston will apply a spray-on insulation to improve the concert experience, according to executive director Robert Sullivan.
“We have listened to the community and the concert touring industry and, with this program, [will] address the issue and solve the acoustic challenges that have occurred in the past,” he said in a statement.
The work is scheduled to begin in July and is expected to be completed within six weeks.
