There’s another Garden in Boston – though it has a sponsor’s name attached.

The FleetCenter officially flipped its name to TD Banknorth Garden July 1st, four months after the Maine-based banking company reached a 20-year deal with the venue.

The re-branding process has already begun, with the removal of FleetCenter signage and a banner outside that reads, “Go ahead, call it the Garden again.”

The arena was built in 1995 on the site of the storied Boston Garden.
