Anger Management Bus Crash

A bus carrying artists performing on the Anger Management Tour was involved in a serious accident that injured 11 people late at night on July 13th.

The bus carrying rapper Stat Quo and Eminem‘s DJ, Alchemist, was heading to Denver for the Thursday night show when it crashed into two tractor-trailers near Odessa, Mo. Stat Quo was hospitalized and then released, and Alchemist was sent to a Kansas City hospital were he was recovering from broken ribs and a collapsed lung, according to MTV News.

A second tour bus carrying headliner Eminem was not involved in the crash.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, the bus was traveling at a “high rate of speed” and swerved onto the highway shoulder to avoid colliding with the tractor-trailers. When the bus swung back onto the highway, it struck one of the big-rigs, pushing it across the median and into oncoming traffic.

After colliding with the second tractor-trailer, the bus overturned and spun into the median. Two cars and two motorcycles then hit the part of bus protruding into the other side of the highway.

Traffic was stopped for more than two hours while emergency clean-up crews were at the scene.

The July 14th concert at the Pepsi Center went on as scheduled with additional acts Lil’ Jon & The Eastside Boyz, D-12, Bizarre, and G-Unit.
