Lil’ Kim Vs. Lil’ Cease

Lil’ Kim has filed a $6 million lawsuit against her former Junior M.A.F.I.A. cohort Lil’ Cease to stop him from releasing a DVD that she claims uses her name, image and likeness without her permission.

Lil’ Cease, whose real name is James Lloyd, testified for the prosecution in Lil’ Kim’s perjury and conspiracy trial in which she was convicted of lying to a grand jury.

The rap diva, whose real name is Kimberly Jones, was recently sentenced to one year and a day in prison. She was ordered to begin serving her time September 19th.

Jones’ lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court in Manhattan, claims the DVD, “The Chronicles of Junior M.A.F.I.A. Part II: Reloaded,” is unauthorized and improperly uses her image, likeness and name, and constitutes false advertising and false endorsement.

The suit also claims that Lloyd announced the DVD will include interviews with himself and other M.A.F.I.A. members about their involvement in Jones’ trial.

She has said she left the group in 2001 over business and personal differences
