Eminem: Not Retiring

Eminem has denied reports that he will quit rapping after this year’s Anger Management tour.

He told MTV News that he’s “not retiring,” contrary to a July article in the Detroit Free Press that quoted sources close to the rapper as saying last year’s Encore would be his last album.

“When I say I’m taking a break, I’m taking a break from my music to go in the studio and produce my other artists and put their albums out,” he told the network.

While acknowledging that he won’t rap “forever,” he said he’ll keep going as long as he has the energy.

“I’m gonna always make music, whether I’m just sittin’ behind the boards and producing … or if I do decide to do another tour or make another album.”
