OK Go and The Redwalls first shared a stage a few years back as two unsigned bands in Chicago.

The tour heralds the release of OK Go’s second album, Oh No. The disc was recorded late last year in Malmöö, Sweden, with producer Tore Johansson (Franz Ferdinand, the Cardigans). Dave Sardy, whose production credits include work with Oasis, Nine Inch Nails, and Jet, also joined the band in the studio.

De Nova, the Capitol Records debut album from The Redwalls, is garnering loads of praise thanks ot their blend of blend of natural harmonies, inventive melodies, and hooks.

Both bands have spent plenty of time on the road in recent months.

OK Go recently wrapped up a series of gigs alongside Kaiser Chiefs, while The Redwalls are playing everything from U.S. club shows alongside the Shout Out Louds, to opening stadium concerts as a special guest on Oasis‘ U.K. summer tour.
