The shows kick off in their home state of Pennsylvania on August 29 in State College, Pa. and closes in their, um, home state of Pennsylvania – in Pittsburgh – on September 24.

The tour will be supporting the Theory’s new album, Deadbeat Sweetheartbeat, which will be released on September 13. The new album – the follow-up to their 2003 Sony release, Love – has allowed the band to add a few new songs to their setlist.

Said vocalist Brett Detar, “We’ve been rotating the same 20-25 songs in our live show for the past three years. On this tour we’re going to break out some songs from the new album for the first time. We are excited to finally let some of these cats out of the bag.”

The Juliana Theory will also bring a number of acts on tour with them, including Days Away, The Goodwill, and Lovedrug.

The band is also set to play the Rolling Rock Town Fair in -guess were? – Pennsylvania! The August 6 festival in Jennerstown will feature Live, Rusted Root, Bloodhound Gang and others.
