The Gang’s Back
Seminal post-punks Gang Of Four made several generations swoon with excitement earlier this year when all four original members reunited for a round of tour dates, including a widely hailed Coachella performance.
Now they’ve got a new album on the way – Return The Gift, due October 11 on V2 – and a new batch of U.S. shows on the books.
The Four – Jon King, Andy Gill, Dave Allen and Hugo Burnham – will land in Providence, R.I., September 29 for a tour kickoff at Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel. From there, they’ll trek across the U.S., hitting Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Austin and a dozen more before wrapping at Anaheim, Calif.’s House of Blues October 21.
