Concert Voice Billy Moore Dies
Billy Moore, 62, who was the original voice for concert spots at
Moore’s vocal style helped launch TCS, founded by Dave Lucas in 1983, as a provider of concert radio, television and print advertising for North American promoters.
“Without Billy, we wouldn’t be who we are,” company COO/producer Jon Shults said. “He started it all for us here and helped create a desire in many producers in North America to work on concert spots.”
Moore left TCS in the mid 1980s and continued doing voice-over work including movie trailers, network promos, radio station imaging, commercials and more.
