Concert Voice Billy Moore Dies

Billy Moore, 62, who was the original voice for concert spots at TourDesign Creative Services, died August 4th at his home near Englewood, Fla.

Moore’s vocal style helped launch TCS, founded by Dave Lucas in 1983, as a provider of concert radio, television and print advertising for North American promoters.

“Without Billy, we wouldn’t be who we are,” company COO/producer Jon Shults said. “He started it all for us here and helped create a desire in many producers in North America to work on concert spots.”

Moore left TCS in the mid 1980s and continued doing voice-over work including movie trailers, network promos, radio station imaging, commercials and more.
