CIC 2006 Sets Dates

The Concert Industry Consortium partners have announced that CIC 2006 will take place February 13-15 at the Green Valley Ranch Resort, Casino & Spa in Las Vegas.

For the first time in its 12-year history, the CIC will take over an entire hotel for the conference. The 490-room AAA Four Diamond Resort is located about 10 miles south of the Las Vegas airport, just minutes from the fabled Strip and mega casinos, yet worlds apart in ambiance.

Green Valley Ranch Resort & Spa has its own casino and a wide array of ultra fine dining or franchise food operations to support every budget. A world-class spa awaits those so inclined and four major golf courses are only minutes away.

Green Valley is completely self contained and many delegates will find no need to leave the resort.

Since CIC is taking over the property, virtually everyone you see will be with the conference, providing for an excellent environment for focused industry interactions. Having the entire resort will allow the CIC to hold a number of innovative and intimate gatherings to address the changes and challenges facing the concert business.

The Concert Industry Awards & Party, which is included with conference registration, is scheduled for February 15th at a site to be announced.

Please note that because Green Valley’s room capacity is less than half of last year’s CIC delegate count, the hotel is expected to sell out quickly. You must be registered for the conference to stay in the hotel.
