The Midwestern six-piece won’t waste time admiring its trophies, though: Umphrey’s is heading out this month with an intense schedule on the books.

The band’s first stop will be the River Roots Live Festival in Davenport, Iowa, August 20, and they’ll keep at it for at least six days a week from then on. They’ll stay busy through early October, playing theatre shows mixed with festival stops.

Two-night stands are planned for several cities, including Chicago and Madison, Wis.

No West Coast shows are currently confirmed, but keep an eye out for more announcements.

The band is also already booked for the inaugural festival in Las Vegas October 29-30 and next January.

These days, of course, the fun doesn’t stop when the concert ends: Fans can pick up Umphrey’s McGee’s second live concert DVD – the two-disc Wrapped Around Chicago: New Year’s at the Riv – starting October 18.
