This is no ordinary DJ set. The Holland-born Tiësto promises to keep the crowd rocking for a full four hours with pyrotechnics, a three-story LED wall and at least 30 performers including aerial acts, dancers, drummers and singers.

The $500,000 production will feature an intense lighting show and Tiësto’s custom DJ booth, decorated in pulsing LEDs.

Shows are set for the Los Angeles Sports Arena August 20, Washington, D.C.’s MCI Center October 21, and Miami’s Hard Rock Arena October 27. He’ll also appear at New Orleans’ October 29 along with Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, Joss Stone and more.

Tiësto was voted DJ Magazine‘s No. 1 DJ for three years in a row (2002-2004), and made history at the Athens Olympics last summer as the first DJ to perform at the games’ opening ceremony.

As you might imagine, he’s a favorite of Spain’s Ibiza scene and he’ll appear on the party-centric island several times in between U.S. dates this fall.
