Captain Sensible of The Damned is the latest addition to the troupe. He’ll join Slim Jim Phantom (The Stray Cats), Mike Peters (The Alarm) and Kirk Brandon (Spear of Destiny) for a tour that aims to make the most of the four members’ shared rock history.

The Dead Men will trample all over the U.K. this fall with nearly 30 dates lined up through late October, but first they’ll play a few U.S. shows for the lucky folks in Southern California and New York.

The Right To Party Tour will hit Anaheim and West Hollywood September 21-22 and then fly to NYC and Farmingdale, N.Y., for another pair of gigs September 23-24. The U.K. run starts three days later in Wolverhampton and stretches through October 30 with Glasgow’s King Tut’s, Bristol Academy and London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire on the schedule. They’ll duck over to Ireland for a gig at Dublin’s Voodoo Lounge October 14.

Dead Men Walking originally formed as a loose-knit group of musicians who had become friends over the years of touring, recording and, um, whatever rock stars do in their spare time.

Past band members have included The Cult’s Billy Duffy, Glen Matlock of the Sex Pistols and Bruce Watson of Big Country. The Clash’s Mick Jones and Topper Headon have also made guest appearances with the group.
