This Time, Leave The Lights On
3 Doors Down has announced plans to make up a show that was silenced by a power outage August 3 at the Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati.
A “fan appreciation concert” has been confirmed for October 24 at the venue, with tickets discounted to $10 for reserved seating and $5 for lawn spots.
Shinedown will open the show.
Fans who attended the previous concert will get first crack at the tickets via a box office pre-sale. Tickets for the general public – at the same price – become available October 27.
A portion of the proceeds from the concert will benefit a local charity.
The venue went dark at the August 3 show after a vehicle hit a transformer. With the help of a couple generators and security guards’ flashlights, frontman Brad Arnold sang several songs a cappella, accompanied on snare drum for a few tunes.
