Majestic Goes Live

The Majestic Theatre in Madison, Wis., (aka Club Majestic) is adding concerts to its calendar starting October 1st.

Larry Frank of Frank Productions said the move will fill the void left when Luther’s Blues shuttered earlier this year.

“We had been looking for a space so that we could continue to bring small club-level shows to Madison after the demise of Luther’s Blues,” he said.

“In addition to a thrilling concert-going experience for the public, the artists are also getting an advantage. The load-in of equipment for artists is from street level directly onto the stage, and a nice, large, comfortable dressing room for the artist also exists.”

The 550-capacity Majestic is a former movie and vaudeville house that was renovated and reopened in 2003.

The Cat Empire and guest Danielia Cotton will kick off the concert series October 1st followed by Mindless Self Indulgence October 16th, the Yellow Umbrella Tour (benefitting cervical cancer awareness) October 26th and Nikka Costa October 28th
