The gala will begin November 17 at The Scala in London with TV On The Radio. Like many artists on the schedule, the New York band will perform with unnamed “special guests.”

The next day, Minotaur Shock and Magnetophone play the same city’s Luminaire, and The Breeders will follow with two sets at Blackheath Halls November 19-20.

Kristin Hersh will do two nights at The Scala: The first will be a set of Throwing Muses songs, and the second will showcase everything from her first solo album, Hips And Makers, onward.

The following days will include performances by The Mountain Goats at Bush Hall, Celebration at The Water Rats, and Mojave 3 and Mark Kozelek at Conway Hall. The birthday bash will close with Blonde Redhead and Johann Johannsson at The Scala November 27.

4AD promises more new artists will be added to the festivities.

The label is releasing a retrospective compilation in conjunction with the shows, as well as a Cocteau Twins box set and a new Hope Blister release from label founder Ivo Watts-Russell.
