Elton John Scores ‘Lestat’

Elton John is taking another musical turn on Broadway following his success with “The Lion King.”

This time it’s “Lestat,” based on novelist Anne Rice’s sexy vampire hero, which premieres December 17th in San Francisco and runs through January 29th.

John and Bernie Taupin wrote music and lyrics for the production, which makes its NYC debut April 13th at the Palace Theatre.
