Folds’ North American tour takes in theatres including Boston’s Orpheum, NYC’s Radio City Music Hall and Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.

Sandwiched between shows in Kalamazoo, Mich., and Elmira, N.Y., is an appearance on Austin City Limits October 29.

What’s more, he’ll do three Maryland shows with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra November 10-12 in Bethesda and Baltimore.

Folds seems to have caught the orchestra bug lately: He also performed with the 83-piece Western Australia Symphony Orchestra in Perth this past March. The two-night performance is being released on DVD this fall.

The U.S. tour runs through November 20, finishing with a three-date run in Texas. Three U.K. dates are scheduled for mid-December in Birmingham, London and Manchester.

Folds is supporting his latest album, Songs For Silverman, as well as iTunes Originals, a collection featuring 9 songs he recorded exclusively for Apple’s online music store.
