He’ll head through the Southwest to Texas and beyond, circling the country throughout the month to finish October 30 at Bimbo’s 365 Club in San Francisco.

The itinerary includes an October 29 stop at Las Vegas’ inaugural , where Banhart and friends will share the bill with Beck, Decemberists, Gov’t Mule and others.

If Banhart’s latest album is any indicator, this year’s tour should be a more psych-rocking affair than earlier outings. The 24-year-old’s sound has evolved into an often raucous affair, although he still finds plenty of time for fingerpicked ballads and cooed melodies.
