Tommy Lee’s Scorching Performance
Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee suffered minor burns on his arms and face during a concert in Casper, Wyo., October 12.
The accident happened while Lee suspended 30 feet above the stage during a pyrotechnic explosion. He was treated as an outpatient at a local hospital and is expected to fully recover. No shows will be canceled.
“He didn’t look good while the paramedics were treating him backstage so we chose to err on the side of caution and send him to the hospital,” Crue lead singer Vince Neil said.
There are three more dates on the band’s current headlining U.S. tour. They the open for two Rolling Stones shows before heading to Japan and Australia. More U.S. follow in December.
