Broussard recently unveiled a solo club itinerary that will last through late November, with shows throughout the South and up to Pennsylvania, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

After a November 25 gig in Lafayette, La., he’ll team up with Bonnie Raitt, opening for her on a two-week run. They’ll head down the East Coast to Georgia, with Broussard bidding adieu after a December 11 gig at Atlanta’s Tabernacle.

Next January, he’ll appear on the floating music festival, which sets sail from Galveston, Texas, January 14 with Pat Green, Better Than Ezra and dozens more joining Broussard on board.

Broussard is contributing to relief efforts in his home state with the release of the Bootleg to Benefit the Victims of Hurricane Katrina EP, which comprises five live recordings from earlier this year.

In September, he appeared at the ReAct Now: Music & Relief benefit in Nashville and also on Larry King Live during King’s hurricane relief coverage. Broussard is offering a bracelet on his Web site to benefit the Momentary Setback Fund, an organization he set up to assist local relief efforts.
