Musical Chairs At Virgin

Virgin Records Chairman Matt Serletic resigned October 18th.

Sources told the Los Angeles Times that Serletic’s exit was prompted by parent company EMI Group’s plan to bring in former Atlantic Records chief Jason Flom to replace him. A deal with Flom is reportedly in the works.

Serletic was tapped for the Virgin job three years ago after a career producing albums for artists including matchbox twenty and Collective Soul.
