Tracy Lawrence will open on the dates, which include large arenas across the country and up into Canada.

The tour begins January 12 in Des Moines, Iowa, with U.S. dates running through early March. Six Canadian stops – in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba – will follow in June.

As usual, Strait will perform in a center-stage configuration, allowing him to face all sides of the crowd. The country veteran – whose career has lasted nearly a quarter-century – regular sells out full-size arenas, attracting thousands upon thousands of loyal fans in each city.

Those same fans have helped make him one of the biggest-selling artists of all time, with more than 62 million records sold and 51 No. 1 hits.

Strait’s latest album, Somewhere Down in Texas, went platinum within a month of its June release.
