The artist formerly known as Slimkid Tre, who helped found The Pharcyde in the early 1990s, will have a tour-only sampler of his upcoming sophomore album available at this fall’s shows. Slimkid3’s Cafe is due early next year.

The tour spans nearly six weeks, beginning at The Fire in Philadelphia November 8 and hitting more than 30 cities before wrapping December 17 in North Lake Tahoe, Calif.

A January 10 show is also booked for Steamboat Springs, Colo.

Since leaving The Pharcyde several years ago, Hardson has focused on developing his own signature brand of conscious hip-hop, forgoing samples in favor of exploring the possibilities of a 5-piece band.

Earlier this year, Hardson appeared at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas, and also toured Europe with fellow ex-Pharcyde member Fatlip.
